Becki Bucher Bartelson, Ph.D. is Director of Biostatistics and Data
Management for the Colorado Prevention Center (CPC).
She joined CPC in January of 2005. She enjoys teaching introductory statistical
concepts and methods and also serves as a Clinical
Professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Biostatistics at the
University of Colorado Denver.
Her major focus at the CPC is to expand on the already strong foundation of
biostatistical and data management capabilities, with an initial focus on the
areas of programming validation, programming efficiencies and quality control.
Dr. Bucher Bartelson is a graduate of Colorado College (BA, Mathematics),
University of Utah, (MA, Mathematics) and the University of Colorado Health
Sciences Center (Ph.D., Biostatistics). Her statistical interests include clinical
trials and longitudinal data analysis.
Dr. Bucher Bartelson is a member of the American Statistical Association,
Biometrics Society and Society for Clinical Trials. She is a SASĀ® Certified
Professional (version 6 and 8).
