Evan King
Evan King, Chief Operating Officer of the Colorado Prevention Center, has served in this role since 2003.

Mr. King serves CPC with more than 17 years of experience in the fields of medical device and pharmaceutical development.  For the 10 years prior to joining CPC, Mr. King was involved in managing the development of novel pharmaceutical agents.  As a project manager for drug development teams, Mr. King was involved in all phases of development, from pre-clinical candidates through the approval process and marketed products.  Most of the development projects were in oncology, but he was also involved in two anti-infective projects.

Business Operations – including Human Resources, Legal, Finance, Information Systems, Business Development and Office Administration – Research Operations – including Project Management and Site Monitoring – and Regulatory Affairs/Quality Assurance report in to Mr. King.  Much of his efforts are geared toward creating or improving systems in Business Operations, and in developing new business strategies for CPC.

Mr. King graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1990 with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiology and Cell Biology.  He held professional positions with the Mentor Corporation, Gilead Sciences (previously NeXstar Pharmaceuticals and Vestar, Inc.), and Allos Therapeutics.

Mr. King grew up in Southern California, has lived in Colorado since 1997, and now resides in Denver with his family.
